Delmont Christmas Pilgrimage

Your Pilgrimage starts at the Shields Farm Historic Log Cabin. Upon stepping outside, walk the field and encounter eight live-action scenes portraying the Christmas story. On the approximately 30-minute walk, witness Mary and Joseph’s encounters with angels, their journey to Bethlehem, and the Good News being told to shepherds and wisemen, before you again rejoice in Christ's birth.

Live animals, dramatic music, and soft lighting abound at this unforgettable event. Five Delmont churches feature different activities and food. Before / after your Pilgrimage journey at Shield's Farm, please feel free to ride the free shuttle buses to participating churches around town to enjoy their hospitality, food, and seasonal entertainment!

Be sure to visit the interactive Mary and Joseph tent where you can pet and have your picture taken with a live donkey!

Pilgrimage Junior

Join us for a child-friendly Christmas adventure! The Delmont Pilgrimage Junior is designed for pre-school and elementary aged children. This interactive journey takes place at Shield's Farm and is designed to present the Christmas story to children in an engaging way. Before / after your Pilgrimage journey at Shield's Farm, please feel free to ride the shuttle buses to participating churches around town to enjoy their hospitality, food, and seasonal entertainment!

Families can attend this event by parking at one of the churches participating in the Pilgrimage (see our website for info) and riding a shuttle bus to the Cabin at Shield's Farm for their scheduled event time. Please plan to board the shuttle at least 30 minutes prior to your ticketed Pilgrimage Jr. start time to ensure your timely arrival at The Cabin.
